Instilled in Emily from an early age is a strong work ethic, a never give up, never say no attitude, and an eagerness for exploration. With this as a foundation, Emily helped grow Jean Peterson Design into a full-service advertising agency, introducing brand strategy, media planning, and interactive services. After 20 years with JPD, Emily purchased the business and saw her vision of Postern come to fruition. She oversees everything from client relationship and brand experience, to art direction and finances.


A fearless business owner and entrepreneur, Emily has a penchant for the outdoors and getting stuff done! On a typical weekend, Emily might run a marathon, eat at her favorite Mexican restaurant, or buy Dachshund memorabilia (or all of the above). Emily is a savvy shopper who does a lot of research before making large purchases, and doesn’t give in to buying pressures.
