Heart of the Civil War Heritage Area
First up is the Heart of the Civil War Heritage Area – who’s mission is to preserve and promote the historic sites, towns, cultural landscapes, and diverse stories in Carroll, Frederick, and Washington County, Maryland. This year they tasked us with creating their first ever comprehensive “Year in Review”.
Here is a small selection of some of our work on this project. We love supporting organizations like the Heritage Area and their impact on the community where we live and work.
Many of our clients have incredibly important missions that make huge impacts on people in our community, and we love supporting them with our work. Heartly House is one of those clients.
Since 1979, they have been the only organization in Frederick County that provides comprehensive services, free of charge, to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, intimate partner violence, human trafficking, and child abuse.
We are honored to produce their annual report. Here is a quick look at the design from this year which builds on a campaign theme Postern developed earlier this year, “Connect and Thrive.”
Downtown Frederick Partnership
Supporting our local community and businesses is incredibly important to us, which is why our work with the Downtown Frederick Partnership is so fulfilling. We had the opportunity to put together their Year in Review publication again this year.
Each year their report highlights areas of focus for the organization. This year’s report featured a special fold and a sign language “Frederick” sticker glued to the inside.
Community Foundation of Frederick County
Our final annual report we’re highlighting this week is the Community Foundation of Frederick County’s Report to the Community. The Community Foundation is an organization that funds scholarships to students pursuing their educational dreams, and grants to area nonprofits which make our work with them so meaningful.
The Report to the Community is a key marketing and development piece used across the organization not only to communicate the past year’s impact but also attract new donors. One of our favorite parts of the report are the impact stories focusing on real people with real stories and the impact the support has on their lives.
