Responsibilities:

Develop content marketing and advertising initiatives that meet our clients’ business objectives and advance their brand using all necessary tools (website, emails, social media platforms, display advertising and blogs)

Demonstrate comprehensive working knowledge of all social media platforms and their strategic value in various marketing and advertising initiatives. Platforms include but are not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Snapchat

Consult with clients to assess goals, identify barriers, and generate meaningful and impactful solutions

Work as a member of the Communications Team and in collaboration with the Design Team while reporting to the Director of Communication

Serve as a voice of complex technical information in content marketing

Stay atop trends and industry best practices to bridge insights, strategy, and creativity into one output

Be part of a space for creativity, ideation, collaboration, fun, and learning.

Research and develop new growth strategies that are integrated with clients’ goals and priorities and advise on budgetary, technical, and creative issues that arise

Manage production and delivery of materials by working closely with internal and external resources (other creatives and vendors, etc.)

Manage execution of influencer marketing and develop influencer relationships, ensuring all initiatives are managed to the client’s expectations.

Conduct asset audits to assess the effectiveness of each tactic and provide reporting using data analytic tools

Source written and visual content as needed from outside contributors

Remain current on audience preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns

Versed in emerging content technologies, platforms and best practices, and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Perform tasks as assigned by the Owner, including meeting with clients, traveling, assisting with new business presentations and internal initiatives

Develop and nurture strong client relationships and deliver an exceptional client experience

Promote the visibility of Postern in the region through local public relations

Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-
2+ years of relevant digital marketing experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or Public Relations or equivalent work experience

Knowledge of search and social marketing, URL architecture, email marketing and the tools used to connect and measure their success (social platform analytics, Google Analytics)

Ability to effectively develop measurable results and objectives and communicate ideas verbally to clients

Ability to develop and articulate ideas
-
Desire to learn and stretch capabilities

Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
-
Excitement for growth, embracing new opportunities to tell stories, and being hands-on with the creative team

Demonstrate ability to think strategically and creatively to develop meaningful solutions

Attend and network at industry, community, and business events to build relationships

Ability to complete multiple projects on schedule and under budget

Knowledge of project management to effectively complete projects on schedule

This position is full-time. Our office is a hybrid workplace at which we work 3 days in the office at our Frederick, Maryland location and 2 days remotely.
