We recently updated this brochure for the Catoctin Furnace Historical Society and our inner history buff loved it! The society studies and preserves the industrial history of early American ironmaking villages and this brochure highlights the Iron Road Driving Tour, featuring sites of interest along the trip.

An expanded and reorganized brochure highlights new exhibits and additional sites of interest. The end result is a great resource for visitors and historians alike who are interested in learning more about the early development of the ironmaking industry in our region, as well as the lives of the workers who made its flourishing possible. Pick up a copy today at the Museum of the Ironworker or the Frederick Visitor Center.
